Cornerstone Information Assurance, LTD. Named "Robert F. Fisher Outstanding Minority Business"

Massillon, Ohio (July 6, 2010)--Cornerstone Information Assurance, LTD received the first "Robert F. Fisher Outstanding Minority Business" award, presented by the ABCD, Inc. at its 37th annual dinner meeting on June 30, 2010.  The award also honored parent company Cornerstone Executive Search Group, LLC. (CESG).

Upon accepting the award, CESG founder and president, David L. Reliford remarked, "It's truly an honor to be the first to receive this award, but more importantly, it's an honor to be recognized by our local community, as minority companies often get overlooked in its vital role of strengthening the local economy, providing diversity in the business landscape, and giving back to  the community by getting involved with local community projects that positively impact the surrounding area."

David L. Reliford founded Cornerstone Executive Search Group, LLC in 1998 to provide executive and management recruiting services.  He later founded Cornerstone Information Assurance, LTD.  to expand the company's reach into the employment and background screening arena.  Cornerstone Information Assurance, LTD., with its technology provider Sterling InfoSystems, provides background screening services on a national and international level to organizations and businesses operating in the church/non-profit, education, hospitality, and real estate sectors.

A non-profit community development corporation in Cantion, OH, The ABCD, Inc. created the "Robert F. Fisher Outstanding Minority Business Award" in honor of Robert "Bob" F. Fisher, a trailblazer, community activist, and businessman in the city of Canton.  Hosted by actress/comedienne Kim Coles of "Living Single" sitcom fame, the theme of its 37th annual dinner meeting was "Through It All--Rising to the Challenges."
